As NAIDOC week draws to a close we are super excited to be announcing our newest addition to the team, and our 11th Aboriginal Apprentice,

Meet BRETT👊🏾👊🏾

Brett is a proud Mirriwoong Juru man from East Kimberly. Brett has relocated to Perth from Kununurra and is looking forward to commencing his apprenticeship with Wilco.

The Wilco team are very proud to have been able to offer employment opportunities to 11 amazing people since setting the ambitious goal to create 20 Aboriginal Apprenticeships by 2020 a short couple of years ago, and while the end of 2020 looms, we will continue to strive in the pursuit of our goal to create opportunities for Aboriginal people to achieve their ambitions of becoming qualified Electricians through 2021 and beyond.

It is a joy to see these young people grow day by day in their confidence and ability over the course of their apprenticeships. On behalf of the Wilco Team, we would like to offer heartfelt thanks to our clients, friends and supporters, without your ongoing support we wouldn’t be in a position to keep supporting people like Brett in the pursuit of their aspirations.
